Responsibilities:

The Development Manager is a key role for the leadership team at Deer Point Meadows, responsible for new developments, construction, new homes, capital expenditure projects, and infrastructure of properties. The right candidate will have extensive experience in construction, strong project management, and leadership skills. Some of the duties include:

• New home placement (from home order to sale)
• Oversee new development properties – all construction-related activities
• Provide insight for cap-ex and updates for properties
• Support Maintenance department
• Create and build relationships with vendors
• A clear understanding of OSHA requirements
• Maintain inventory controls, budgets, quality standards
• Completes homeowner orientations

Preferred Qualifications:

The right candidate will have the following skills:

• AA or higher in related field
• 8+ years maintenance supervisory experience with progressive leadership responsibility
• Valid drivers license
• Thorough understanding of basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general maintenance processes
• Project Management Experience/certification
• OSHA Certification
• Pool certification
• Propane certification
• Relevant project management and construction training
