Deer Point Meadows (DPMI) is growing at an exponential rate and looking for a highly motivated, vision-focused, strategy-minded individual to help round out our already dynamic leadership team. The time is right to find the right person to lead this charge!

Responsibilities:

The Director of Communities will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and oversight of on-site and corporate teams;
  • Implement strategies and policies that uphold our core values, business needs, culture, and compliance;
  • Create and implement audit protocols for compliance, standards, best practices;
  • Ensure adequate support from operational partners;
  • Maintain budget expectations;
  • Review and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing tenant legal requirements;
  • Collect and interpret market data and best practices;
  • Establish and maintain solid vendor relationships;
  • Network and create community presence;
  • Provide insight in team creation and training;
  • Partner with other Directors to ensure clean, safe, and healthy communities, positive culture, and exceptional experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Do you have 5+ years of high-level property management experience? A solid and practical understanding of Oregon and Washington tenant law? A passion for creating exceptional resident and guest experiences? Are you self-motivated, a natural leader, and ready to join a team that is moving full force ahead?

This position is a position of influence and insight. Thinking outside the box, not relying on the status quo, and having a hands-on approach will be essential.

Experience is a MUST!! Have you worked with over +3000 spaces? Experience in the RV or Manufactured Home industries? Experience with compliance and hospitality alike.

The right candidate will also have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other like fields
  • 10+ years experience in high-level property management
  • 10+ years leadership experience – strategy creation and implementation experience
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and consistency
  • Solid understanding of budgets, profit, and loss statements
  • Project management experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to travel as needed (25% or less of the position).
